    This tourist Mecca nestled in the heart of the Bernese Oberlands is located between Lake Brienz to the east and Lake Thun to the west. Hence derives the name “Interlaken” ! The train ride bordering Lake Thunersee makes for a stunning view of Swiss chalets lining up the lakefront, of daddies setting up a barbecque dinner in their courtyards.
