  • Tomatina

On the last Wednesday of August, the small Valencian town of Bunol, turns into a giant bowl of tomato puree!! Cause that’s when the town of Bunol hosts Tomatina! Originating in 1945, this tomato hurling "festival" has turned into a major tourist attraction. Trucks laden with tomatoes roll into the streets, volunteers smash these tomatoes and hurl them at all the participants on the street and the fun begins! Every person on the street..volunteers and participants…are covered in tomato puree by the end of this good natured tomato "fight". Definitely a once in a life time experience and must not be missed if you plan to be in Spain around this time.

"Honeymoon is one of those trips in which you don't want anything (and I repeat, anything) to go off beam. You want it to be as 'flawless' and as 'magical' as promised to your spouse. This was the reason why I was initially skeptical to hand over"
