    The charming captial of Austria, Vienna, is a delightful city. From imperial palaces to cathedrals, museums to amusement parks, the city has it all. With the likes of Beethoven, Mozart & Sigmund Freud having been residents of Vienna, there is a lot this city can offer to the artistic, musical or intellectual palate. Fancy a river cruise? You can do that to, on Europe's 2nd largest river, the Danube.

    Ensconced in the lap of the Alps, the "Salt Fortress" can easily become one of your most favourite holiday destinations of all time. The pristine Alpine setting, complete with breathtaking lake districts are guaranteed to take your breath away. For those of us, who grew up with the Sound of Music, as an integral part of our childhood, Salzburg is all that we hoped it to be and so much more!     A visit to this quaint old lakeside-town, known for its salt mines, can be planned as a day trip from Salzburg. The only hitch…once you reach Halstatt, you wont want to leave!

    This Tyrolean Austrian city is picture perfect to say the least! As you walk down the Maria-Theresien Street you will come across the 13 meter high column of St.Anne. The feeling that St. Anne is watching over this town is sure to strike you as you stand here. The old town, with this column, the popular "Golden Roof" combined with the perfect backdrop of snow capped Alps, will not fail to give you your very own picture postcard! A visit to the imperial palaces will take you through the opulence of the lives of the 18th century monarchs who ruled Austria. Apart from the charms of the tyrolean town, Innsbruck is also well known as an Alpine winter sports destination. The Nordkette cable car will take you right onto the Alps, let out the adventurer in you, hiking or skiing as the weather permits!
