  • Kandy

At a height of 465 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains, complete with a beautiful lake, Kandy with its cool climate will give you much needed relief from the humidity and heat of the other locations. The cultural capital of Lanka, Kandy houses the famous Temple of Tooth and many other temples and shrines. Enjoy the cool atmosphere of this town and indulge in some souvenir shopping to carry back home.

  • Galle

Situated in the south west of Sri Lanka, is Galle. An exotic city, modern but with a warm old fashioned heart! Yes, right in the centre of the fourth largest city of Sri Lanka is the old Dutch quarter, known as “Fort”. This well preserved city dating back to the 16th century is a World Heritage Site. It bears testimony to the years it guarded the then Dutch colony. The Portuguese, followed by the Dutch and then the British, have left behind impressive structures reminiscent of the colonial days. What is exciting about this otherwise quite town, is the working community which still functions within the fort, filled with boutiques, bustling cafes & hotel.

  • Nuwara Eliya

The hilly Central Province of Sri Lanka houses the city of Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya has been considered as the tea capital of the country since the 19th century, when tea was first introduced to Sri Lanka. Set admist green mountains and at a height of 1890 meters above sea level, it promises you misty landscapes and a lovely cool climate! Often called “Little England”, the Victoria Park, Lake Gregory, the Race Course and Golf Club and a few colonial hotels, just reinforce its nickname. Between February and April, the best time to visit Nuwara Eliya, tourists flock to this city. During April, around the time of the Sri Lankan New Year, you can be a part of the exuberance of the horse races, motor cross races and many other events that get planned.

"Honeymoon is one of those trips in which you don't want anything (and I repeat, anything) to go off beam. You want it to be as 'flawless' and as 'magical' as promised to your spouse. This was the reason why I was initially skeptical to hand over"
