  • Phnom Penh

This eclectic capital city is located at the confluence of three rivers, which divides the city into three sections the north, the south and the central. The North of the city is mainly residential, the French left their mark on the Southern section of the city and the Central section is characterized by narrow lanes, bustling markets and food stalls. These intrinsically different sections manage to weave themselves into an exotic experience that is Phnom Penh. The grandiose Royal Palace, the solemn Independence monument will charm you, while a visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum will sadden you…all essential to understand what Cambodia is all about. A shopping excursion to the New Central Market or the Tuol Tom Pong Market will ensure you are acquainted with local produces, antiques and ofcourse sharpened bargaining skills!

  • Angkor Wat

Of the few things that are worthwhile loosing sleep over is visiting Angkor Wat during sunrise! This spectacular temple complex dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in the early 12th century, will hold you spell bound with its beauty. This well preserved temple complex is a representation of Mount Meru, the home of the gods. Be prepared to spend anywhere between couple of hours to half a day getting mesmerized by Angkor Wat!

"Honeymoon is one of those trips in which you don't want anything (and I repeat, anything) to go off beam. You want it to be as 'flawless' and as 'magical' as promised to your spouse. This was the reason why I was initially skeptical to hand over"
